Meet Zia Khan from Karachi.

Zia Khan is an Agentic AI Architect, author, innovation leader, and social entrepreneur working to transform Pakistan through technology and education. He is the Founder and CEO of Panaversity, an AI education platform focused on preparing the next generation for the rapidly changing world of artificial intelligence.

His journey has been built around a clear belief: countries can transform their economies by giving young people the skills the world needs. Over the years, he has been involved in large-scale technology education initiatives and worked with national and provincial leadership to expand access to emerging technologies for Pakistan’s youth.

Zia has played key roles in major technology education initiatives, including the Presidential Initiative for Artificial Intelligence and Computing and the Governor Sindh Initiative for GenAI, Web3, and Metaverse. His work has helped bring AI, Web3, cloud computing, and emerging digital technologies closer to students and aspiring developers across Pakistan.

His academic and professional background includes an MBA from Arizona State University, professional qualifications as a CPA and CMA, and extensive experience in software development, technology education, and innovation. He has also received an Honorary PhD for his service to education and IT.

In 2023, Zia Khan received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz from the President of Pakistan for his contributions. He has also received Microsoft MVP recognition for eight consecutive years, reflecting his long-standing contribution to the technology community.

From building software and educating developers to shaping large-scale technology programs, Zia Khan continues to work toward a Pakistan where young people can learn, build, innovate, and compete on the global stage.
