At just 20 years old, Muhammad Saad is the visionary behind AFRIUM, Pakistan’s first AI research company dedicated to undergraduate AI research. The organization actively collaborates with 47+ universities nationwide to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional research.

Saad founded AFRIUM with a clear mission: to provide talented undergraduate students with a direct pathway into real AI research. He recognized the need for proper methodology, expert mentorship, and access to meaningful research problems that go beyond standard coursework.

After a three-month period of quiet development, AFRIUM was launched publicly. Since its inception, the company has established robust programs designed to help students gain practical experience and contribute to significant research projects in the field of artificial intelligence.

The organization has successfully completed three major initiatives: Class of Research, Class of ML, and Afrium Summer of Code. These programs select students to work across diverse areas of AI, ensuring a comprehensive exposure to modern research standards.
